And I've added "To Say Nothing of the Dog" to my list of books to read once I finally finish all the Sherlock Holmes stuff.Shannonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03336520961342768543noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5490669462450557079.post-76492600908453126492010-03-04T11:56:05.830-08:002010-03-04T11:56:05.830-08:00So I had to think about this for a while, and I co...So I had to think about this for a while, and I couldn't think of any one book that I really think everyone should read...but then this morning I glanced at the few books I've been able to keep with me and I saw "Dandelion Wine" and I realized...duh. It's one of my favorite books ever, and I don't consider it YA Fiction necessarily because it deals with themes that are a little beyond children in ways. I wrote a review on it that one time, and I can't really remember what I said, but there's one part of the book that I particularly love when a young reporter goes to interview a very old woman and they fall in love, and things happen. I don't want to give too much away if you or anyone else reading this has never read it, but yeah, I definitely recommend it to everyone. On the other hand, everyone told me that "Catcher in the Rye" and "Brave New World" were great books, but for various reasons, I wasn't able to get through them and thought they were dumb. I'll have to try again later I guess. Anyway.Shannonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03336520961342768543noreply@blogger.com
